Take Action : South Africa's elephants in captivity need your help!

Below are letters recently sent to the Minister of Environmental Affairs about elephants in captivity in South Africa by Animal Rights Africa and world renowned elephant expert Joyce Poole.
Please take the time to write a short email to the South African Minister of Environmental Affairs and Tourism (Martinus Van Schalkwyk) in support of these letters of advice and appeal.

This is an urgent plea as the South African government will be releasing its policy document within the next few weeks.
Some pictures of young elephants who were taken from their families last year and “trained” in South Africa are also appended.
