How you can help
7 SIMPLE THINGS YOU CAN DO TO HELP ANIMALS IN THE NEW YEAR
1) Write to your local newspaper to complain about the circus's return to Fourways, or another instance of animal abuse that concerns you. (Circuses are notorious for the abuse they inflict on animals during 'training', and the general mistreatment and neglect to which the animals are subjected. See www.circuses.com ) You can also see the attached document for my letter to the newspaper which was printed in the Citizen and Northcliff/Melville Times.

2) Write to an Animal Rights Activist in prison because of the UK's harsh anti-terrorist laws. No, these people are not in prison for attacking people. They committed economic sabotage only! (If posting is a hassle, you can email me your letter and I will post it!)

3) Put a Say NO to Animals in Pet Shops bumper sticker on your car! (Available for free from sarahharrison123@gmail.com )
4) Try out being a vegan for a day!
5) Watch 'Behind the Mask', an inspiring documentary about what happens to animals behind the scenes, and what people around the world are doing about it.

6) Write to your favourite cosmetics company and ask them to STOP testing on animals! I have attached a list of which companies still test on animals. Their details are all in the phone book!
